So at the munch this week we will be talking about Hypnotic Scenes. I even have a hand out and everything. This is really the meat and potatoes of why we use Hypnosis in the lifestyle. Using it in scenes to enhance the scene or make hypnosis the scene. Negotiation is a little trickier and needs a lil more detail than a normal scene in my opinion.
Something I am thinking about this week because of conversations over the weekend. I noted a number of people with what I call weak experiences with Hypnosis. A weak experience is not a bad experience per se but one where the hypnotist did not do an adequate job of explaining the process of hypnosis to the subject. I also noted a number of instances of anxiety brought on by inadequacy issues or what I am perceiving as inadequacy issues. People feeling bad that they cannot be hypnotized.
This is of course nothing that should cause anxiety. When one kind of approach does not work, the hypnotist should try a new approach and re-examine the subject to learn about possible different approaches. I hate to see people walk away from hypnosis with a bad taste in their mouth.
I am going to be writing in the blog more often, detailing some more lifestyle journey but also logging my thoughts and ideas on Hypnosis. I will use it as a means to keep track of my own thoughts and continued exploration of Hypnosis & BDSM.
Ok enough chit-chat.
So for the foreseeable future, that is until the next munch, I will be focusing on Hypnotic Scenes. Mostly it will be thoughts and notes here that at some point I will turn into class notes. A hand out and everything 🙂
What is a Hypnotic Scene in the BDSM sense? Well if a “Scene” is the time and place and activity, then quite simply it is a time and place and activity that involves Hypnosis as the primary tool. In many scenes of normal BDSM play, even though the scene may be about one thing say flogging, other tools could be involved. So it is not to say that hypnosis is the ONLY tool in the scene but the PRIMARY tool in the scene. That is how I am tackling the subject.
Where will the lifestyle be in a Hundred years?

What do you think our world will look like in a hundred years? Will we finally have flying cars and arcologies and space travel? Will be on Mars? What will the state of religion be? What do you think will be on our television sets of the future? In our movie theaters? What will computers and the internet look like?
More importantly to this blog and you, the kinky reader, what will our kink look like in a hundred years? That is going to depend on where we are as humans in a hundred years.
I believe we have kink for three fundamental reasons:
1. A need or desire for kinky sex
2. Sexual and psychological release of developed fetishes and urges or situations we fantasize about
3. A real social and psychological need for a certain kind of relationship dynamic that may involve kinky behavior.
Let us take one of my favorite fetishes: pantyhose. Pantyhose will stay heavily fetishistic as long as women and pantyhose are not brought together in the world of mainstream fashion. Right now, hose are somewhat out of fashion and a whole new generation is developing their sexuality from bare legs and peep toe pumps. However, if we look back 200+ years we see that stockings were a man’s garment and for a time stockings were the garment of men and women, though slightly different. Today we even have Spanx for men.
So in a hundred years our fashion tastes will be different. I am not sure stockings specifically will ever go out of style but I imagine the niche that pantyhose fill will be filled by something completely different. In that case the fetish itself will change. It may even disappear although feet are such sexual objects I doubt it.
The lifestyle has already changed significantly since its earliest inception. That evolution is going to continue and it is fascinating to consider what it might be in a century. Maybe some of us will live long enough to find out.
I am kind of angry at myself. I have been using people. I do not like that about myself. I was being discrete but I feel like I am a liar. I am a liar whether people think so or not.
I thought I could have two wonderful women in my life, each in a different aspect, and someone satisfy both their needs. To be honest I doubt I was even satisfying one, let alone both.
Some people can handle poly of one flavor or another but apparently I cannot. Hell its not even that. I suck, enough said.
I am a man who has lived the Secret Life of Walter Middy his whole life. I have a great imagination and when alone I can conjure up the mightiest of fantasies to pass the time or create a surreal environment for the enjoyment of the body. When I started growing into adulthood and got my first taste of the reality of fantasy, it came as a mixed bag. Fulfilling fantasies too often can dull the sharp spear the prods us toward creative thinking. A few examples:
Fast Food – growing up we had fast food on long trips, every Friday, and on nights when the power was out. We almost always cooked. Getting older and with money, eating a favorite fast food whenever I wanted became a haven for dark times. I would retreat to the burgers and fries or to the potato chips and soda. It was not healthy and I honestly do not enjoy them as much as I used to.
Women in Hosiery – Oh the time spent watching legs. I have spent a lot of time fantasizing about women and the lingerie of their legs I never get tired of it, but the reality of this particular like is an interesting one. A dying industry in many ways, the hosiery industry had to reinvent itself but it has not managed to SELL itself to the mainstream public or come up with a pair of pantyhose that fit comfortably for the majority of women. At least not inexpensively. Also, when you tell someone you love that you enjoy women in hose, if you do not back that up, she feels ugly. If she goes bare legged, she feels not as attractive. Fetishes can make people feel inadequate.
Chloroforming someone – They do not go all the way out sometimes nor do they go out quickly. Its not like the movies folks. They also drool sometimes so you need to make sure they do not choke on their drool. That is not sexy.
The point of this blog is not just to allow me to talk about Fantasies and their associated Reality, but to attempt to find the joy in fantasy again. I will also make occasional side rants, but those will be pointed out.
